In
2015, I visited the mobile museum of art to watch performances by David Durant
and friends. I loved the performance from the start of the end because of the
diversity of tunes that the performers produced. I also loved that some
performance involved actual dancers. I particularly remember Rita Durant, a
dancer who performed with David Durant in one of his fine pieces. The dancer
danced away to the tunes of the euphonium. Overall, the presentation comprised of
different performances that were captivating and unique.
The
presentation involved eight main performances with David Durant overseeing most
of the performances. The opening presentation was by Durant and his performer
Rita. The Durant’s presented a masterpiece where David played the euphonium as
Rita danced. The captivating piece saw the dancer perform to the melodies that
David created. The second piece of performance was by Luke Smith. Luke Smith
captivated the audience with his skills of playing the Marimba. The marimba is
a percussion instrument that produces music notes when hit by the player. Luke
Smith produced music notes by hitting the marimba with two mallets. Brianna
Smith, who played the flute, supported Smith's performance. Next, Luke Smith performed
the mercury and his ghost (2014). Performer Myles Garver sang while Ryan Boehme
played the drum set. Ryan used drums with different pitches thus able to
produce a melodious tune that Myles sang along tune. The performance was a
moderate tempo. The next performance was by David Durant, who led Luke Smith
and Ryan Boehme and Luke Smith in performing the improvisation for the marimba
and the drum set.
The performance involved the playing of the
marimba and the drum set. The duet performance was challenging and unique as it
allowed the audience to experience the two instruments as they complement each
other. In the next performance, David organized four performers to perform
different instruments: the marimba, the drum set, and the voice of Garver and
Burton. The effective performance by the performers required that each
performer integrates his piece with the other to create attractive pieces. The
pitch and tempo of the performance were moderate as David ensured the
production of a rhythmic tune. David Durant also took to the stage and played a
museum piece that involved playing the piano. David played the piano as a
professional as he mixed the key notes to produce music. The next performance
was by Peter Wood, who played the flugelhorn. Peter played the flugelhorn in B
pitch through the professional manipulation of the piston valves. The last
performance was by Rudolf with the six string viola. The viola resembled a
guitar but played like a violin.
The
Museum of Art presents art lovers with a diversity of art pieces and
performance by professionals. The presentation by David Durant and Friends with
a memorable experience as it involved representation of performance from famous
historical performers. David Durant performed an exquisite job of organizing
the performances for the audience. I would recommend the performances to any
other person who craves for a rich and unique presentation of art.
